Vera Bradley: Can you mix and match prints?
(1 bag votes, average: 4 out of 5) Loading ...| After spending some time at a few different airports during the past week I noticed something that made me start to wonder…..can you really mix and match Vera prints? First let me start off by saying that I don’t think I have ever seen so many Vera Bradley bags at one time. Most of the women that I saw carrying their totes, handbags and backpacks around had multiple pieces of all different prints. There was only one woman that I saw who had three matching pieces. I want to get your opinion on this, because personally I don’t think that you can mix and match Vera prints. To me that is like trying to wear polka dots with stripes; it just doesn’t work. What do you think? |

Can a Handbag Bring Happiness?
Can a handbag really bring happiness? My answer to that question would have to be a resounding “Yes!” While a hobo or clutch may not bring your quest for world peace to fruition or help you shed those last ten pounds, they can help you feel stylish, chic, and feminine….and what woman doesn’t want to feel fabulous?
With the right handbag, a merely cute outfit becomes hot and a few mismatched pieces can even be pulled together to look fashion forward and trendy. And when you know you look good, the chances of having your mood boosted are pretty darned good as well.
I mean, remember the last time you carried a bag that was tattered and ready to be retired? You probably felt a little awkward and embarrassed to set it up on the counter to reach for your wallet, right? With a hip bag you feel like you are in the fashion know, trendy, sophisticated, girly and definitely cool. You want to sling it back across your shoulders and feel confident in knowing that people are not only admiring your purse, but your sense of style as well. Admiration definitely can make a girl happy!
Carrying a great bag isn’t the only source of handbag happiness. Buying a great bag is half the fun. After a grueling week at work or an even more grueling week at home with the kids, what could feel better than a little retail therapy? Dropping the briefcase or diaper bag in exchange for a sexy little purse feels empowering. You know you deserve that treat and you are finally doing something about it. You are going out there and buying a bag that is more than functional. You want something that’ll make you smile when you look at it. You are going to let loose and purchase the sassy little red or purple clutch that you’ve been lusting after just for fun. That little bag will somehow make your trips to buy diapers or lattes for your board meeting a little more fun, a little more whimsical and, yes, a little more enjoyable.
Handbags can definitely bring you happiness. When you look good you feel good. It may sound frivolous and just a little vain, but it’s the truth. We all want to be like the Dalai Lama, sure, but unfortunately we aren’t so we might as well give in to admitting that a great outfit and great accessories make us feel good. Really good!
So the next time the weather is dismal, your newborn spit up on you for the tenth time in one day, or your boss made you feel like a drone, go out and get yourself a great little (or big!) purse. Get something fun, bright, and maybe a touch daring. It’ll put a smile on your face, trust me on this one!

| Ever forgot your phone or ipod charger? It happens to me all the time. Unfortunately I don’t have a car charger either so usually I’m pretty much out of luck. I think I’ve found the solution to my problems-look at this new handbag that I found; it will actually charge your phone or ipod while you are on the go! The bag is “bavarian cowhide leather with antique brass hardware, hand dyed hemp/cotton fabric, a hemp cotton lining and sports a 12-inch by 12-inch flexible solar panel on the side. Gadgets connect to the solar panel via the cable hidden away in the inside pocket using the USB or iPod cables included with the handbag(www.geeks.com).” It’s not really known(or I haven’t found it yet) where these can be bought, but www.geek.com found a similar handbag for $476.00. With all the new “green” ideas that are coming out I would have never imagined this one making it to the market, but I think it’s a great idea if you can afford it! |

| I saw this article on www.telegraph.co.uk and had to share it with you! This is the world’s most expensive hadnbag; how much does it cost? 1 million pounds!!! Listen to this and maybe you will understand why. The handbag is made out of platinum and has over 2,000 diamonds on it! If you are not going to carry it around town, you can take off the strap and use it as a necklace, or take off the front embellishment and use it as a brooch.
